Healthcare Systems Engineering at Lehigh University

In October and November 2010, our president, Michele Stuart, President, once again showed her passion to educate the world about engineering and encouraged others to join her in her beloved field. She introduced Lehigh University senior undergraduates and master's candidates to the future of engineering education, a new master's program in Healthcare Systems Engineering. This pilot program resulted from a growing crisis of cost, quality and efficiency in the US healthcare system. Michele showed students how engineering concepts and implementation can provide a dramatic positive impact on the future of healthcare as we know it. Fall 2011 is the launch date of the new program so continue to check the Efficiency Engineers and Lehigh University website for updates.
