A Note About Barn Dance Attire:

Are you wondering what to wear to the Foote-Stompin' Barn Dance?
Well, the short answer is, whatever you like. Wear blue jeans and cowboy boots, a party dress, or anything in between! No matter what your attire, you're sure to fit right in and have a Foote-stompin' good time!

The auction is the PTC's biggest fundraising event of the year, and all proceeds support important educational programs that enrich our children's experiences at Foote. Thank you!

Paying Tribute to Heroes, in Words and Pictures

Don't miss the seventh grade's heroes project, on display now in the main hallway. Each seventh grader chooses a personal hero and writes an essay for Humanities class, then draws a portrait using craypas on cardboard in art class. Among this year's heroes are humanitarians, civil rights icons, politicians, family members, friends and professional athletes, as well as a Sandy Hook teacher who died protecting her students during the 2012 tragedy (pictured in the portrait above drawn by seventh grade Serena L.).

How to Make Syrup, as Told By Kindergartners

K-2 Morning Meeting 2015
To wrap up their hands-on maple sugaring lesson, Kindergartners in Tricia Simon's class made a slide show with photos, illustrations and voice narration to explain the process of boiling sap collected from sugar maples into sweet, sticky syrup. Click the still frame to watch it, and find more photos of our campus maple sap boil on our Facebook page.
Winter Sports Wrap-Up

Foote's winter sports teams notched some key wins this season, and students developed as athletes, individuals and teammates. On the court and in the pool, student athletes showed dedication, perseverance and good sportsmanship.
