Scenes From Unite Through Understanding Day

Today, Foote celebrated
Unite Through Understanding Day!
The art of Bollywood dancing, one of more than thirty workshops students participated in.
The purpose of this all-day event, which takes place every three years at Foote, is to celebrate diversity in all its forms and to guide students in developing a deeper understanding and appreciation of other cultures and of people who otherwise differ from them.

Students participated in workshops, classroom activities, a buddy lunch and an all-school assembly in the Hosley Gym.

Students display their artistry after a workshop on henna designs.

Creative thinking shows that all minds do not work the same way.

A slideshow of more photos from the day can be found by clicking here or on the images above. Look for more photos and videos in the days to come!
