Greetings From China!

Ninth graders are on day five of their two-week China trip. After a 13-hour direct flight from Newark to Beijing, the ninth graders and faculty chaperones spent the first three days touring historical sites such as the Great Wall and the Temple of Heaven (pictured) and presenting oral reports on them. They have tried Tai Chi, traditional foods and bargaining with street vendors. As of this writing, they were on an overnight train from Beijing to Xi'an, where they'll spend three days before shipping off to Changsha (home of Yali Middle School), Hong Kong and finally home on March 15.
