Date Change for Vision and Hearing Screenings
| |
|
The dates for this year's vision and hearing screenings have changed. The Nurse's Office will conduct the screenings Mon, Nov. 12; Tues., Nov. 13, and Wed., Nov. 14. Screenings will also be done Mon., Nov. 26, and Tues., Nov. 27 in the Sturley Room.
Students in kindergarten and Grades 1, 2, 3, and 6, and all new students in grades 4-9 will be screened.
Please remind your children to bring their eyeglasses to school on those days.

A Deadline Reminder

Dear parents of eighth and ninth grade students:
If you intend to have your child apply to secondary schools this year, please remember that all recommendation forms must be submitted to the proper teacher and our office by Wed., Nov. 21. By that time, please send an email titled "Schools Applying To" to me at lconsidine@footeschool.org and Erika Villa at evilla@footeschool.org that states the final list of schools your child will be applying to.
Additionally, please encourage your child to carefully complete and submit to me the student questionnaire I recently made available to them. The form enables me to more fully and effectively advocate for your child throughout the admissions process. It is often very useful for you to assist your child with the form.

- Register your Target Credit Card with Target's Take Charge of Education program. Earn 1 percent for Foote.
- Register your Big Y shopper card with Big Y's Education Express program. Sign up at any checkout counter.
