Grandparents Day is Next Friday! | | |
Grandparents Day is Fri., Oct. 12. We look forward to seeing grandparents and special friends during this wonderful event. Please check with them to ensure that they have responded to our invitation. This enables us to assign a volunteer and have a schedule ready for them. If you have questions or need to register a grandparent or special friend, please email Maria Granquist in the Development Office or call 203-777-3464 and ask for Maria.
We are asking that parents (other than volunteers) refrain from visiting campus that morning to ensure that parking is available for all who need it. Thank you!

There will be no sports practices Tues., Oct. 9, due to the All School Faculty Meeting that will be held from 3:15 to 4:45 p.m. The Cross Country meet and the Girls Soccer game are still on.

Upcoming Field Trips - Please Take Note

Information regarding upcoming middle school field trips has been given to your children or will be given to them in the following days. Here is a roundup of the field trips by grade:
Ninth Grade: to New York City Tues., Oct. 9.
Seventh Grade: to Plimoth Plantation Wed., Oct. 10.
Sixth Grade: to Bear Mountain Fri., Oct. 19.

A PTC Fall Fundraiser

As our fall fundraising effort, the PTC is offering a custom photo session with professional photographer and Foote parent Stephanie Anestis.
-
 The 20-minute sessions at Edgerton Park are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign up right away! - Sessions will be held on Thurs., Nov. 8; Fri., Nov. 9; and Sun., Nov. 11.
- Sessions are personalized to your family's preferences. Parents, children, and pets are
welcome. - Stephanie will contact you to confirm your session and for a pre-shoot consultation.
- Cost is $125 for the photo session and includes a digital image of your choice worth $75 - great for holiday cards!
- Payment of session fee due in PTC mailbox upon confirmation.
- Additional prints and products
 are available to purchase, perfect for holiday cards and gifts. Families will be able to view photos in a password-secure, on-line gallery and will have approximately 10 images to view. - All proceeds are generously being donated to the PTC.

The Parent Teacher Council's first offering in a series of Community Conversations for the 2012-2013 school year will feature Foote School Counselor Veena Raghuvir. The meeting will be held at 8:15 a.m., Wed., Oct. 10 in the Sturley Room. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.
