In the past 30 years, we have stored dogs from all areas of canine competition.
I can spend blissful hours watching dogs and their owners work together. The obvious delight of the dogs as they compete chills me.
I am very happy to see so many new venues for dog competition. Flyball is very energetic and noisy. Hope more people try it because some couch potato dogs are missing out on lots of fun.

he far left and far right dogs in the photo are the two from the chilled semen breedings -- one shipment that went to Buffalo, NY in November 2011, and one that went to Cleveland, OH in March 2012. :-)

Frozen Semen Successes and Progesterone Testing
Our team Carol, Sue, Maria and Dr. Dorota Pearson's staff had 17 successful frozen semen litters out of our last 21 since June of 2014! Our success record is based on progesterone results done in house. There were no LH testings, no hormone injections, no follow up AI's. Reliable progesterone testing is becoming more elusive as medical companies are selling progesterone machines without demonstrating that their results correlate with successful litters. For the frozen semen industry to satisfy dog owners expectations, I guess dog owners willl need to educate themselves as to the variations in progesterone testing and veterinarians will need to prove their progesterone testing results with successful litters using their particular laboratory readings.
The following successful frozen semen litters used our in house lab quality equipment, our proven kits, and most importantly, the experience of doing thousands of tests with our protocol ,analyzing the results of successful litters, and using those levels for scheduling breedings.

Do you remember what started you in dogs?
  My dog interest started in first grade by reading Ch. Dog Prince Tom. I found a copy in an antique store and brought it to the laboratory. When Ellen Massie brought in her labrador for progesterone testing, she delightedly told me she started her interest in dogs by reading the same book! And she texted another dog friend who also read the same book as a child!
Parents, beware! Lifetime obsessions can start by reading a book in first grade!
