Greetings!
Happy New Year from the staff of your High Point Theatre, Here's hoping that the year brings you much prosperity, joy and great entertainment! We are looking forward to a very active 2013 which started with the Magic of Sammy Cortino this past Saturday night, and next with the comedic magic of The Water Coolers, coming up on January 25. If you are in the Winter doldrums, our January and February shows should jolt you right out of them. The Water Coolers is an improvisational group based in NYC. It's a cross between Who's Line is it Anyway, and Capital Steps, with some wonderful musical parodies based on the everyday life of business men and women. I suspect you might see some of your own personality, or of someone you know in their hilarious take on the world. Of course we aren't done! February is the month of love, love of Big Band Jazz, and Broadway Music! Still need a place to have dinner and a date for Valentine's Day....look no further than the HPT Valentine's Concert featuring The Best of Broadway, with a dinner available before the show catered by Gianno's. (I've seen the menu, it will be delicious!) Call the box office or visit on-line for tickets and details. See you at the Theatre! Kindest Regards, David Briggs, Director |
