Awards Gala June 16 at The Colburn School
Save the Date!

APA Los Angeles is excited to announce that this year's Planning Awards Gala will be held at the Colburn School's Zipper Hall on June 16.

The Colburn School is one of the hubs of the arts community along Downtown LA's Grand Avenue. Founded in 1950 as the Community School for the Arts - a small music preparatory school for the University of Southern California, the Colburn School has evolved into an independent, non-profit institution with a breadth and depth of programs and classes in arts education. We are looking forward to honoring Los Angeles County's best plans and planning achievements in this vibrant space.

Sponsorships Available

Sponsorship opportunities for the awards gala are available at many different levels - click here for rates and information. Your contribution will not only help to underwrite the event, but will also provide the opportunity for you to market your services, products, and programs to key players in the region's planning community. Attendees will include municipal planners, planning consultants, developers, policymakers, elected officials, attorneys and real estate professionals.

Most planners and Angelenos know that to get in a car and zip from one tourist destination to another is to miss some of the greatest joys of Los Angeles. APA LA's "Planning Local in a Global City" series will guide planners to the cultural diversity and culinary treasures that exist within our backyard. These tours are not just for foodies, but are designed to delve into issues of economic and community development in neighborhoods rich with tradition, history, art and delicious cuisine.

The second in this series will take us to Ventura Boulevard, the lifeblood of the San Fernando Valley. We'll make our way from east to west via private coach, making approximately five food stops with historical, civic, and cultural information provided by our guides from Secret City Food Tours!
