MK400 end-of-line testing system

As part of ASI's continual growth, we are constantly updating and improving our production techniques to better serve our customers. We did that earlier this month by upgrading our MK400 end-of-line testing system.

The testing system was in development for six months. It's hands free, which makes it safer and easier to use than the previous system. It automatically adjusts the test based on the size of the shaft, making it easier for the line to maintain a steady pace. In addition to everything the previous line tested, the new system tests motor speed and counts the number of products that have passed through the line that day.

Since it's hands free, it frees up one employee to leave the line and help out elsewhere in the warehouse without losing any production speed. The line produces the same amount of transaxles as it did with the old system, but with one less person.
