YOUTH LEADERSHIP COMMITTEE GROWS
In Its Second Year, High School Group Shines

  

Led by President Hannah Windham, Secretary Kathryn Sharplin, Outreach Chair Susie McCartt and Leadership Development Chair Will Snell, the Youth Leadership Committee has doubled its numbers and impact in its second year. Currently there are 64 members, representing 9 Austin area schools. They've already raised $15,550 this year and they are planning a benefit concert featuring Rob Baird on February 21, 2016. A CURE IN THE NICK OF TIME
First Annual Run Raises Over $25,000
  
Jessica Curran, organized the first annual A Cure in the Nick of Time Run in Duxbury, MA in honor of her brother who has juvenile Batten disease. With Nick and his father leading the way, participants ran to raise awareness and funds for research. Raising over $25,000 to support BBDF's research strategy, the Curran's community showed their support for Nick. Thank you for helping us find a cure or treatment for juvenile Batten disease!

Donate in Honor of a Loved One This Holiday

When you make a charitable donation to BBDF in honor of your friends and family, we will send you donations cards for you to give to your gift recipients. Slip these into your holiday cards or neighborhood goodies. In addition, we will send an acknowledgement letter notifying you of your tax deductible contribution.
