BAG PICK-UP

Bag pick is TODAY from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 1379 Family Sports, 2727 Exposition Boulevard. Please not that there will be heavy traffic at Casis Elementary from 2:15 to 4 p.m. Feel free to call Lizzy Franey at (361) 563-4937 to have bags delivered directly to your car.

Bags contain course maps, emergency contact numbers, shirts, visors and safety gear that you will want to have before the race, so try your best to stop by. Any bags that aren't picked up will be available at the start line.

START TIMES

View a list of team start times here. Times are determined based on the pace time submitted by your runners. Our goal is for all teams to cross the finish line together at sunrise (between 7 and 7:30 a.m.) and start times have been set to accomplish that.

STARTING LINE - Expect Traffic Delays
Teams should arrive at Enchanted Rock 30 minutes before their assigned start time. The start line will be at the park's pavilion located just north of the main park entrance. There are several routes from Austin to Enchanted Rock. Consider avoiding Dripping Springs if possible. There will be lots of traffic and potential road closures for their Founder's Day celebration on Saturday. We suggest giving yourself about 2 hours to get from Austin to Enchanted Rock.  When you arrive, be sure to use our supplies to decorate your cars, buses and RVs and to get a team photo taken by our photographer!
SAFETY INFORMATION
Our number one concern is the safety of our runners. Please CAREFULLY review this safety information. Copies of safety instructions, along with emergency contact numbers, will be found in your runner bags.
COURSE DETAILS

Please be sure to review the course information. It is necessary for all runners, drivers and team members to be familiar with the route, which side of the road to run on, and exchange locations. Download this map app to follow your progress along the relay route and make sure you remain on course.

EXCHANGE STATIONS
Run to the Sun is like an overnight, roving party. We have 14 amazing groups of volunteers who are staying up all night to encourage and support you. There are going to be some exciting themes and treats in store for you along the way. Be sure to get out of your cars at each exchange station so you don't miss out on the fun. Vote on your favorite station at the finish line and the winning exchange station will receive a prize!

Relay Quiz - Each leg of the relay is dedicated to a child with Batten disease. Check out the signs at each station to learn about who you are running for. You will find a game card in your runner bag. Fill in the answers to all the questions on your game card and turn it in at the finish line to be entered into a raffle to win a prize.
FINISH LINE - Parking

When you arrive at Murchison Middle School, RVs, buses and team cars will park along Far West Boulevard. Enter under the balloon arch and follow the flags to the track. The final leg will conclude with a lap around the track.

SUNRISE CELEBRATION

We know you'll be tired, but please plan to hang around for breakfast and awards.  We'll have lots of coffee and great eats from Taco Deli, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, The Kolache Factory, P. Terry's and Austin Skinny Limits.
