This planning season has begun, as always, with so many important projects to be completed before the end of the year.
I would like to thank all of the Accredited Camps, Preferred Vendors, Affiliates, and Provisional Applicants for renewing their memberships. Being part of the OCA brings so many benefits to assist you with all aspects of your camp, including the support provided for outside influences or impacts on your camp.

An email was sent to all members announcing that the Early Bird 2016 Annual Conference Registration is now underway. You may click on the following link to register https://oca29.wildapricot.org.Please take advantage of the lower prices and register your staff before December 7th. After the deadline, fees will increase by $50.00 or more. Emails will be sent to you on a regular basis detailing information about the Mock Court, the Keynote Speakers, the Session Speakers, the Exhibitors, and the social events.
The Exhibit Hall is almost full. If you want to have a booth at this year's conference, please contact the office through email or by phone to reserve your booth.
**If you are nominating someone for an Award or for a position on the OCA Board of Directors, please click the link for the Awards Nomination Form and/or click the link for the Election Nomination Form. Please return your completed form to the office before Friday, October 30th.
Following a meeting with the Board of Directors and The Connected Brand, who we are working with to create a marketing plan for 2016, it was decided that the OCA's Newsletter would be sent to you on a quarterly basis, rather than on a monthly basis. Information bulletins will be sent to you as events or issues arise.
Your participation in the OCA Newsletter is important. Please send your information, pertinent topics and ideas to heather@ontariocamps.ca before the first of December. The 2016 newsletter schedule will be January, March, June and September.
