Point Pleasant Presbyterian's ROCK OF LIFE alternative worship service begins this Saturday, 5:00-6:00 pm, in the Sanctuary.
Taking place over seven Saturday evenings during the season of Easter, ROCK OF LIFE will combine contemporary music, active participation from the church's youth, and a collection of seven messages for daily applications entitled "Keys For Living a Resurrected Life."
Week One (April 9, 2016): "Grace Without Boundaries" (John 20:19-30)
This week's service will be led by Anthony Maimone, a recent graduate of New Brunswick Theological Seminary and a member of PPPC. Anthony will be assisted by Director of Youth Ministries Courtney Norton and members and advisors of the Youth Connection.
EVERYONE is invited to come to this joyful, informal time of worship! Come and be a part of something new.

Dear Friends, They fished all night, but caught nothing. Their nets were empty. Then, Peter and the other disciples heard a voice. "Cast your net on the other side of the boat!" There were so many fish, they could barely haul the net in. Then they saw that the man who had called out to them was cooking breakfast for them: fish on a campfire. It was Jesus. Joy! We all have times when life disappoints us, when our nets are empty. Our Lord can fill those nets in unexpected and glorious ways. Join us in Sunday worship: for a celebration of fullness! Blessings,

Sunday School News
Hello everyone!
Last week, we starting talking about the passage in Matthew 5:1-12 known as the Beatitudes. These are en excerpt from the Sermon on the Mount. I personally think this is one of the most beautiful passages in the entire Bible, not only for its eloquence, but also for the reason that in this passage, Jesus teaches us how and why to follow the rules - not just what the rules are. We started on our Beatitudes book, which we will be working on if there is extra time within the lessons. Don't worry if you missed it, I have some extras! This week, we will be talking more about the Beatitudes. Specifically, we will be discussing blessings in our lives and how to focus on them- especially when things get a little difficult and we aren't feeling quite so grateful. See you on Sunday.
Peace and Blessings

This Week at Point Beach Prep
This week we learned letter W. We had fun whisking water, washing baby dolls, washing dishes, and walking the plank. During Show and Tell we saw a live worm! At our project table we made watering cans, worms, whales, windsocks, watermelons, and painted with watercolors. Our music included The Wheels on the Bus, Washing Machine, and We Are Family.
Some of our books we read were Diary of a Worm, Where the Wild Things Are, Mrs. Wishy Washy, and Wings on Things. We read a book on Whales and listened to Whale Sounds on the Ipad. We learned sign language for the letter W and "well done!"
Art Educator Karen Norby came in on Wednesday and presented a lesson about textures. The children did texture rubbings of leaves, wood, and other items.
The Point Pleasant Beach Children's Librarian came in on Thursday to read stories and sing songs with us.
The High School Child Development Class came in on Thursday and Friday.
We got to meet two pet turtles when our Nursery Student of the Week's parents came in to read about turtles. Our Pre-K Student of the Week had his Mom come in to read a story about Bunny Pirates.
What a wonderful week!
