St. Gregory's Pantry
Needs Your Help

We need volunteers to help with St. Gregory's Toy Setup and Distribution. There are several blocks of time volunteers are needed. The toys are given out in the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church CE Annex and help is needed over several days.
Dec. 14 - Setup. Bags of donated toys are sorted and put on tables in the CE Annex. Volunteers are needed between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Dec. 15th - Setup Continues. Bags of donated toys are continued to be sorted and put on tables in the CE Annex. Hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Dec. 16th - Toy Distribution. Volunteers are needed to walk around with clients as they shop for gifts for their children. Volunteers assist with the selection, keeping clients to the number of gifts they are allowed and keeping the flow of people moving. Hours are 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Volunteers are also needed to be in the sanctuary to assist and pass out numbers to the clients who are waiting to be called to come over to the Annex. We are providing hospitality so that the clients do not have to stand in the cold for long periods of time.
A few people are needed to staff the kitchen in the annex. Making coffee as well as putting out food for volunteers is needed. Hours are 8:30 am to after lunch.
Dec. 17th - Home Delivery and Clean up - Volunteers are needed to pack bags of gifts for people who are unable to come to distribution in person. When everything is done, the hall needs to be cleaned. Hours begin at 9:00 am and will continue until completion.
Should you have any questions or if you're be willing to volunteer, you can speak to or email Linda Chase. You do not need to stay for the entire time on any given day. You can volunteer for either a morning or afternoon block of time.
