One More Thought

This is my last week at Grace Community Church, making this my last "Sidebar Column" for the Grace Happenings Newsletter after 4 years of being the Youth and later Interim Pastor of GCCN.

I looked at our  Newsletter archives one day, and I realized how much it's has grown in a since November 2011 We've  changed color schemes, fonts, the header picture and graphics and even have had different kinds of devotionals written by Pastor Wes or myself or even just left it for a good song that we wanted to share.

What has never changed is that we've used this forum to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, good news of what's happening in the Church and news of how God is impacting our world and culture. I'm thankful for how God has used a Wednesday newsletter to reach so many, both in and outside of our regular church goers. (We will continue to do so, even if it will be less frequent)

My prayer is that as we've grown as a Newsletter, that you've also grown in your walk with the Lord. I pray that God will continue to be first in your life and that He will guide you through the storms of Your life.

It has been my joy to be a servant here for the last four years. I hope that you will keep me in prayer for the next adventure that I have in my life and that you will support and pray for the new interim pastor as we wait on God's person for Grace Naz.

To God be the glory in the great things that He has done.
This Week at Grace Community
What a wintery blast! We've received more than 30 inches of snow at the church and we've finally found the pavement and the front door! The wagon in the parking lot will have to wait till February. We pray that you and your family were safe and warm inside your homes over the weekend. Pastor Matt has a funny story about the weather and what he did this week as he finishes up his last week with us at Grace Community. We will also hear his 2015 report and vote for our 2016-2017 church board.

May God be praised!
Family Movie and Potluck Dinner Night
Saturday, January 30th, we will have a Family Movie and Potluck Night! We will be watching the movie "War Room", a movie based on prayer. Dinner wise, we've got the ham and turkey, what we need from you is your favorite side dish!
Any questions? Please talk to Sandi Weyna or JoAnne Oliver.
Student Ministries News
On Wednesday, we will be having our final youth group with Pastor Matt. We are finishing up our topic of purpose. We encourage as many youth to come out and celebrate with us!

We are also having a laser tag night on Thursday at UltraZone in Bensalem, PA. Contact Janet Weyna for more information!
Welcome to Pastor Wil Kauffman!
Starting in February, our new interim pastor will be Wil Kauffman! He is a great pastor from Cape May, NJ and has pastored and assisted the Cape May Seashore Church for many years. We are excited to welcome him on February 7th as our new interim. Pray for him and his family as the transition takes place this and next week.
Grace Community Needs You!
Would you like to help the ministries of Grace Community? We are in need of office and computer people to help with the correspondence and outreach ministries of our church. Please contact Jon Lambert or JoAnne Oliver if you are interested in helping us.
Thank You, Everyone
I thank you, Lord, for encouraging, leading and directing me. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to live out my purpose that You have given me here at Grace Community. Thank You, Jesus Christ, for redeeming and setting me and countless others at GCCN free from sin, despair and destruction. Thank you, Holy Spirit for showing up in times in where I felt weak and tired and directing me towards the Father.

Thank you to the Church Board and Pastor Wes Tink for entrusting me with the Teens and Children of this church. I cherish the privilege of leading your teens to the Lord. Thanks to the worship team for allowing me to lead us together in worship to our Father.
I thank the greatest teen leadership staff I have ever had: Pastor Wes, Sandi Weyna, MIke O'Harold, Janet Weyna, and Ed Hugate. Thank you for you friendship, allowing me to try things and fail, not letting me be mediocre for God or for the teens or this church as a whole. I thank Ming Lai for always being a listening ear and a constant reminder administration wise. I thank everyone, young and old, if you've been here for four years or four Sundays for the countless friendships and the countless moments of great fun and life changing conversations and those who have prayed constantly with out me knowing. I have felt each and every one of them.

I thank each and every teen that has ever come through our doors on a Wednesday night. I pray that God will continue to change your life and shape you into people that are ready to serve Him with every thing that you are and every talent that God has given you.

I thank my God in all of my remembrance of this church.
I thank my God!
