Merry Christmas!

From all of us at Grace Community Church of the Nazarene

May God bless you and your family as we celebrate His arrival in this world!!

Born is the King!

This Sunday at Grace Community
Chaplain Tom Beard will be sharing with us what God has laid on his heart this Sunday morning. We pray that God will speak through him to us.

We also want to congratulate him for the birth of his new grandchild!
Front Step Ministries
Front Step is the Compassionate Ministry Center established by the Philadelphia District Church of the Nazarene over 12 years ago to attend to specific human needs in the City of Philadelphia.  Located in the Nicetown region of North Philadelphia, Front Step is a Christ-centered community center operating as a non-profit faith-based 501c3.  The hub of ministry takes place at an 11,000 square-foot building just across the street from Stenton Park, one of the hundreds of parks around the Philadelphia area.  The mission of Front Step is to enhance the quality of life in the Stenton Park neighborhood by loving people with the love of Jesus Christ.   Our previous Pastor of Grace Community Church, Pastor Wes Tink, is the Executive Director of Front Step, Inc.  Would you be willing to add Front Step to your regular prayer that God will work through Pastor Wes and others to accomplish great things through this ministry?  If so, please let Pastor Wes know by emailing him here.

Transition Process
On Sunday, Pastor Matt announced that he's resigning from being the youth and interim pastor of Grace Community Church.  His last at GCCN will be January 31, 2016.  We are continuing the lead pastor search.  Please keep the congregation and leadership in particular prayer as God unfolds His plans. Also, pray about how you can help the Church as we transition.

Truth About Jesus
For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
