I think that I'm a addicted to phone app games, primarily puzzle and word games. One of my favorites is a match three game in where you switch similar pieces together so they make a three, four, five or six item match.

Now to be extremely good at this one, sometimes I have to use the in game currency to purchase power-ups, lives and items that will help me beat a level. When you run out of in-game coins, you have the option to use real money to pay for the in game money to get the items that you need. The other option is to wait a certain amount of time.

I feel that when I wait it out for God, life seems so much better. Sure, there are times that we could spend all of our energy in a situation in our lives. Or, in that same situation, instead of wasting something valuable, rest and rely on God and He will bring you through.

I'll wait.
This Week at Grace Community
Chaplain Beard shared this past Sunday about how we should identify ourselves:  the way that God sees us. In Judges 6:11, the angel of the Lord greets Gideon by saying, "The Lord is with you, mighty warrior."

This week, Pastor Matt shares a familiar story of an identity crisis. Pray for him as well as the church as we remember that our identity is in Christ!

Harvest Party 2015

The Harvest Party is back and bigger and better than ever. We are planning on making this a huge outreach event and better than it's ever been! We need welcoming faces, game and activity leaders, food makers and more! Talk to Pastor Matt for more information! The event date is October 31st. There will be a sign up sheet at church this week for volunteers to get involved in the different areas of this revamped event!

 
Student Ministries News
Youth Group Wednesdays are going strong! Our first week, we talked about God always being with us. Last week, we talked about the full armor of God. What are we going to unpack this week? Join us this week at 7p and find out!
Children's Church Workers Needed
We are short Children's Church workers! Do you have a heart for kids? Are you willing to serve? There is a need for new children's church teachers and assistants for this year. If you would like to learn more about how to help in this amazingly fun ministry, please contact Pastor Matt.
Momentum 2015
Click here to register for Momentum 2015! Momentum is filled with great discipleship classes for members of the church! The cost is $15 with lunch included and $10 if you bring your own lunch. We are planning on carpooling from the church on Saturday, October 24. Contact Pastor Matt if you need more information.
