From Pastor Matt

Before I became a pastor, I got my degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Nazarene College, but wondered, now that I have my degree, does that make me a teacher?

I went through all of the class work, projects, some late nights and a
lot of glue and had a piece of paper that said I have accomplished all that I needed to become a teacher. Yesterday, as went to the local middle school to substitute for an ailing teacher, I wondered if I'm a real teacher.

One piece of advice my Education Professor gave me changed my life. "You're going to pick up a lot of things that will help you teach a bunch of students. However, listen to this: kids wont care how much you know until they know how much you care.

I wonder what it would be like if we as the Body of Christ took this in mind? Let's continue to journey along with our brothers and sisters as we pray His Kingdom Come!
