"Our Trail of Words"

Dominating some of the news this week is the email records that were--or were not--kept by the former Secretary of State.

There is great dispute over issues such as what should be public or private and who "owns" the decision process.
I'm sure these debates will continue passionately.

What is indisputable is that Jesus said: "But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."
--Matthew 12:36-37

Do these words create deep concern, perhaps conviction, perhaps confession and repentance?

Jesus also said "By their fruit, you will know them."

What is more evident in our lives than our words which reveal our heart?
Let God transform our hearts and minds and guide each word today.
Sunday, March 15, 2015
Do you see the hand and presence of God  in the world around us?  For Christians, the answer is a resounding "Yes!"  For others, not so sure.

What does the Bible say about discerning God in the world of creation and nature?  Lord willing, this Sunday Pastor Wes will be preaching on God's self-revealing in the world around us.

Truth From God's Word
"Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: "See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him."
