"A Job
or a Calling?"

Is the work that you do "just a job" or a calling from God?

The Bible teaches us that every work that we do as Christians has value, purpose and is ultimately for the Lord. 

Yes, there are time of drudgery and even great challenge for all of us. But you do not just work for your boss and the visible requirements of your work.
 You work for God! And what you do, no matter what the work is, it is important in God's eyes!

God has placed you there for a variety of reasons.  There are many values to the work He has given you.  It may be that the greatest value in His eyes is that difficult person or that demanding boss. 

God has put you there for Christ's light to shine through you to people who need to see integrity, compassion and God's love.

The Bible says:
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
--Colossians 3:17
Sunday, March 30:  "Look to Jesus"
During these next four Sundays we will particularly be focusing on the Person, work, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Pastor Wes will be preaching a sermon series from the Gospel of John entitled "Look to Jesus!"  

This Sunday we will also be having presentations from our teens who attended the Festival of Life in Boston this past week.

Hey all! It's a Wednesday (or when ever you read this!) Whatever day it is, it's a great day to praise the Lord! Here's what's going on in the teen's lives.

CONGRATS TO OUR TEENS! Cody received the bronze medal in Male Vocal Solo and Karly and Sadie received the silver medal in Group Drama! On Sunday, they will share their performances in service! We will also have video of their medal performances on YouTube and our church Facebook.

Teen Summer Camp is coming soon! July 28-August 1st, worship, fun, smiles, joy and more at summer camp. Talk to Pastor Matt for more information or print out your forms now!!

There's a youth service...coming soon!!! Get ready!

Nursery Restarting

GCCN will be restarting the nursery care for during the Sunday Morning Worship Service during the next weeks. Those who have volunteered or would like to volunteer for assisting in this important ministry please sign up in the foyer to be included as part of the rotation.   Thanks for serving!   

A Few Hours of Your Time?
 Spring is finally coming, and there is much work and cleanup to be done on the building and grounds. This Saturday, we will be particularly working on the downed branches and yard repair, so please bring chain saws and yard tools. A few hours of your time will make a big difference!   Food will be available.  Rain is predicted, so we will adjust as needed.  Call Pastor Wes' cell phone if you have questions.  Work planned from 9:00 -- 3:00 pm
Easter Presentation at Fountain of Life
Tickets are available for the annual Fountain of Life presentation in Burlington County.  See Sandi Weyna or contact her here to reserve your tickets. This is a great ministry event to take friends to and it is no cost to you! 
Child Evangelism Fellowship Conference Headline
For everyone who is involved in ministry to children or just loves kids, you know that there is nothing more important in young lives than spiritual development!  There is an upcoming children's ministry conference sponsored Child Evangelism Fellowship on April 12 that you don't want to miss!  

Please sign up in the foyer if you would like to attend, brochures are available.  The cost of this conference is $59, but scholarships to assist with the cost may be available if needed.
