"GREAT INVESTMENTS"
 
Early September, new beginnings, new opportunties. 
 
It was great this past Sunday morning to invite all our young people to the front of the congregation and to recognize their new beginnings, new grades, new schools.  Do keep these wonderful young people in your prayer! 
 
Grace Community Church is taking new steps forward this month, particuarly in relation to Children's Ministry.  I am convinced that there is no better investment of my time than to invest young people with the knowledge, truth and Person of Jesus Christ. 
So it is exciting for me personally to see that we have wonderful children, new opportunties and a great Cause! 
 
Please pray that GCCN will indeed become a vibrant, fun, resounding and effective means of God's Word and Truth transforming the lives of many young lives.  
 
During the summer, two of our children made a commitment to Jesus Christ and two of our teens were baptized--Praise God! 
 
Pray that God's will is fulfilled by God's people in the power of His Holy Spirit! 

"As your children are taught by the Lord, great will be their peace"

Sunday, September 8: 
"What's next?" 
"Where are we going?" 
"Are we there yet?"  
These child-like questions are good questions for all of life.  "Without vision, people perish." 
 
This Sunday will be a "vision" Sunday of where and how God seeks to lead us in the coming months.  These are days of opportunity and advance at Grace Community Church, particularly in relation to children and youth ministry.  Please pray that God's will be fulfilled! 
Upcoming RockSolid Men's Events
Rock Solid

Grace Community Church is delighted to be hosting our second annual Conference for Men. This will be on Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.    Our Keynote Speaker will be Rev. Newell Smith.  The theme this year is: "Be Strong. God's Way!"  Sign up on Sunday, the cost is only ten bucks, pay at the door.  

 

Men, we'll be beginning our Tuesday evening men's group on Tuesday, September 17th.  This will be a great series on successful living with family and on the job.  More details coming to you. 

Kids and Teen News 
Aloha! Welcome! We are so excited to get back into the swing of things! The summer was a huge blessing and now we are so excited to get started with the Fall events and ministries!

Youth group continues tonight with our fall theme, Cross the Line. What does that even mean? Find out tonight at 7pm, it will be a great time!

Our Quizzing season has begun! Our first Teen Bible Quiz meet will be at Lansdale COTN on Saturday. Keep us in prayer as we kick off this year! We are studying Romans and James.

District Festival of Life is coming up in November! Are you a singer, dancer, actor? Maybe you like to write or draw? How about playing volleyball or basketball. Do you really like math and science? Contact Pastor Matt at matthew.a.brown615@gmail.com for more information.

Sharing Jesus with Friends and Family 
Matthew Manual
God's plan for bringing people to faith in Jesus Christ is through people who already know, love and serve Him. Its awesome that you and I can aid in the process of life transformation!
 
In the coming months, we will take further steps toward being equipped to bring friends and family to faith in Jesus Christ.   
 
The first step is to identify people that you know need Jesus.  Make a list of them. 
Second, pray for them daily.  Third ,go through the three lessons of  the "Matthew Manual."  These small steps of faith will make you more effective in sharing Jesus Christ with others. If you do not yet have a Matthew Manual, pick one up next time you're at church.

Thank you for all those who prayed and helped our teens and kids go to Summer Camps this summer. We were so blessed and can't wait for what God has in store for us in the next year!
