From Pastor Wes
"PERSPECTIVE"
How important it is for each of us to "come apart" to step aside for a time so reorient our perspective and priorities. Without that, we can fall into ruts and routines and lose sight of what really matters or what the new possibilities are.
Sarah and I having a full fours weeks of vacation together beginning today--something we've never had before. But I must confess, when we leave for vacation, we do not fully leave the Church behind. The wonderful people of Grace Community Church are in our daily heart, thoughts and prayers.
Also, it is a chance to look from a distance and to discern God's will in fresh ways. This past year at GCCN has been wonderful and exciting in a multitude of ways. We have had dear and wonderful people join with us in worshiping community. We have seen growth of the children's and youth ministries. We have seen lives transformed by Christ's presence and power! There is so much to praise God for!
The one perspective that matters most is always God's perspective--to see as God sees and to know His heart and priorities.
Our prayer indeed is: "Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
The cosmic view.
The cosmic purpose.
The cosmic vision.
May our daily lives be lived with a clear awareness of God's will and perspective!

Thank You!
For every person that volunteered time being a crew leader, station leader, floater and most importantly, those who PRAYED for our VBS this year. We are in awe of what God did in this VBS. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Sharing Jesus with Friends and Family
Recently, Pastor Wes gave a simple plan for helping to share the Gospel with friends and family. The first step is to identify people that you know need Jesus. Make a list of them. Second, pray for them daily. Third, use the "Matthew Manual" during the rest of July and August to go through the three lessons. These small steps of faith will make you more effective in sharing Jesus Christ with others. If you do not yet have a Matthew Manual, you can get one from the table at the rear of the Fellowship Hall.
After the summer, we will have further steps to aid in bringing friends and family to faith in Jesus Christ. God's plan for bringing people to faith in Jesus Christ is always through people who already know, love and serve Him. Its awesome that we can aid in life transformation!

| Church Finances
There has been a good response to the current need, but we are still almost $4000 short of the full amount to be fully caught up at this point of 2013. Give as God directs you and you are able. Honoring God first always is a blessing to ourselves, others and God's work.
