Praise God for family! 
 
Family is God's design, It is the basic unit for for caring for one another and for having a strong and healthy society.
 
To be raised in a healthy and happy family home is one
of the greatest gifts of life.  Healthy and happy families do not just happen. 
 It does happen best when God's word is the template, what Jesus Christ is honored and when each member puts the needs of others before themselves.  
 
This past week, as with many weeks, I have seen family at its best: One family where the beloved matriarch is coming near to the end of this life and family members are attending to her with great compassion and tenderness.  
Another family where each is giving up personal preferences to honor and bless their family members.  Another family discovering anew what it means to worship Christ together between Sundays.

Praise God for families!
America's Christian Heritage

Next week we celebrate America's Independence Day. On July 4th, it will be 237 years since the founder's gathered in Philadelphia to put their words and lives on the line for freedom. This Sunday, we will be celebrating the Christian heritage and blessing that we have as a nation.  Our prayer indeed is: "God Bless America" and may His presence be upon us! 
"Shaping the Future" Conference
Children's Ministry
Thank you to those who participated this past Saturday in the children's ministry conference! The ideas, sharing of experience and discussion and prayer together all helped to shape the next steps in where God is leading us in the vital ministry to children.  
Please pray for our children.  Please also pray that God will raise up leaders who are passionate about the lives & souls of children!  
Kids and Teen News

We end our normal youth group activities with a cookout BBQ! Join us at 7p for some fun at  the church! Contact Pastor Matt for more info.
 
Want to study God's word in an competitive and fun atmosphere? Bible Quizzing might be for you! The teens for the 2013-14 season will be studying Romans and James and the Kids will be studying the book of Genesis. Contact Pastor Matt for more information. Adults, this is a prime time as well to watch your kids shine in the Word of God! We need volunteers to help run these programs.

Ladies Tea and Inspiration

The Ladies' "Tea and Inspiration" will be this Saturday.  There are almost 30 ladies signed up for this opportunity.  Please be in prayer for the speaker Kerry Powell and and all those in attendance.  If you have last minute questions, you can contact Sarah Tink by email here or phone at 609-577-3912. 
Zapped! Children's Camp 2013
Are you ready??? The teens aren't the only ones who have a Summer Camp! Finished 1-3 and 4-6 graders have their very own Summer Camps this summer! Contact Pastor Matt for more information!
Praise God, Great Start!   
A letter went to members of the GCCN congregation this past week outlining that we are entering the summer with a financial shortfall of $8,500 as we reach the halfway point of 2013.  In response, this past Sunday there were donations of almost $2000.00 toward this urgent need--Praise God!  
 
As each family follows God's Word in relation to tithes and offerings, the Church will thrive in fulfilling the ministry that God has called us to.  Families will be blessed as they are faithful and generous to God's work and as they are a blessing to others!
