"Spring"
Today, the first day of Spring for 2013!
Spring--the time "when worms begin to emerge from the earth, ladybugs land on screen doors, green buds appear, birds chirp, and flowers begin to bloom!" Ok, so that didn't all happen at exactly 7:02 eastern time this morning. In fact, tomorrow won't look that much different from yesterday. But the conditions have been set, the adjusting tilt of the earth has taken place so that things will look and feel much different in May than it was in February. Sometimes when great things take place, we don't see the results right away--but they will come with time. When Jesus came into this world, great realities changed, but few people knew or noticed.
When Jesus gave his life on the cross and was raised from the dead, most of the world knew absolutely nothing about it! Today lives are being changed every single day because of Him!
Besides the first day of Spring, watch today for the great transformations that will result in unimaginable change!

 On that first Palm Sunday almost 2000 years ago, the crowds cheered and threw their cloaks on the the ground as Jesus arrived in Jerusalem. What was it they were celebrating, what were they expecting? Sunday, Palm Sunday celebration, remembering Christ's triumphant entry and why He came to this world. Service is at 10:40. |

Easter--Resurrection Sunday
Plan for a time of worship and celebration on Easter Sunday, March 31st at Grace Community Church. We begin with a Church breakfast together at 9:00 am. There will be a sharing of the Easter story during Sunday School. Following that will be our great celebration of praise and worship to the Lamb who was slain but overcame death for everyone of us--Jesus Christ! Please be in particular prayer preparation for this time that hearts will be touched and lives changed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Congrats to Sadie and Cody Weyna! Sadie and the Girls Soccer Team won the Gold medal and Cody got the Silver Medal for Men's Vocal Solo! Praise God! Check out the bling on our Facebook Page and all of the Philly District NYI shenanigans on the district NYI page here

Easter Offering for World Missions
On Easter Sunday, the final Sunday of March, we will be receiving our Annual Offering for World Missions. Our goal this year is $1500.00 and every penny will be going to help support Church of the Nazarene missions around the world--in over 140 countries! Please be generous in bringing the Gospel to others. You can learn more about Nazarene Missions here.

RockSolid Ministries
 Another great men's group last evening as we got a solid grip on what God's idea of authentic manhood according to the Bible. Reject passivity, accept responsibility, give leadership and expect greater rewards by God's grace.
We will run this same session again next Tuesday evening at 7:00 for those who were not able to make it this week, just let Pastor know, contact him here.
Men, answer those written questions in the next week or two so when we get together on April 9th, we can move onto the next topics in this series. |
