"Thanksgiving

Re-enactment"

I am always inspired when I read the story of the Pilgrims who came to these shores in 1620. Long before they arrived, they had already been through years of hardship and persecution due to their religious beliefs.

At the heart of their beliefs was a desire to "purify" the Church, to live in accordance with the Biblical lifestyle of the earliest Christians--to be a "New Testament" Church!

All through history, when the Church has drifted from its biblical moorings, God has raised up a people who are not only hungry for the purity of God's Word and Church, but give their lives to seek it.

Jesus promises that such prayer and desire will be answered!

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." ---Matthew 7:7

As Americans, we are hugely committed and successful at remembering and re-enacting the Pilgrim's Thanksgiving Celebration.

Let us also be hugely committed and successful in what lay at the core of their passion and choices.  Let us seek the purity of the Church and the vitality and power of the early Christians in our lives and nation!

May God's greatest blessings be with you today!

Happy Thanksgiving!
"Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts."(--1 Chron 16:9)

Pastor Wes and Sarah and Pastor Matt join in wishing that you and yours a blessed and joyous Thanksgiving!   Every good thing comes from God and we are the recipients of wonderful blessings!   Praise Him!  Thank Him!
The Church Jesus Builds: Evangelism
ChurchJesusBuildsLogo

This Sunday is the final sermon on the series:

       "The Church that Jesus Builds."

We could not end this series without returning to the first commission Jesus gave us--"to make disciples of all nations" baptizing and teaching.  God calls His Church to evangelism in a variety of forms. Please prepare your heart by praying for God's truth and presence to be with us.

Festival of Life

Congratulations to Cody Weyna, Sadie Weyna and Rebecca Paul for making the Philadelphia District Team for Festival of Life 2013! They will be representing us at the Regional FOL in March next year.

New  Platform and Seating Arrangement
This Sunday will be the first with our new platform and seating arrangement. This increases our seating capacity, will make it a little easier to see the service leaders and screen and also addresses some safety issues. Come early to find your new seat!
Kids and Teen News

Aloha! Before you go and get the stretchy pants for Thanksgiving, here's what is going on in that colourful youth room.

We continue HIStory tonight as we talk about a famous hockey player who deals with Christianity and the aggression of hockey.

Enjoy time with your family this holiday season!

Have a great day in the Lord!

"2012 Paid in Full" Goal

During the course of 2012 we have slipped $12,000 behind in our ministry commitments. Some in our congregation have lost income. We have also lost some of our dear seniors who were faithful in tithes and offerings.  We have also increased our commitment to Children and Youth Ministry by 1800% To raise an additional $12,000 is a real challenge at this time, but as we are all responsive to God's leading, it will happen!   Focus not on how little you can give, but how much! God will bless in countless ways! Thank you!

Christmas Spectacular at Fountain of Life

There will be a Grace Community Church trip on December 7, 2012 to see the wonderful Christmas presentation at Fountain of Life Church in Burlington County.  We will be leaving from GCCN at 6:00 pm. Although there is no charge for the ticket for this event, you are welcome to make a donation that would support our youth ministry. Just mark your gift "Christmas Trip."  This would be a great opportunity to bring friends and family to an excellent Christ-centered event! Please sign up with Amy Weyna who is coordinating this.
