From Pastor Wes
Psalm 33
"Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the LORD with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy. For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does.
The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love. By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; he puts the deep into storehouses. Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the people of the world revere him. For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.
The LORD foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance. From heaven the LORD looks down and sees all mankind; from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth-- he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do.
No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength. A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save.
But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope in you."

Hurricane Sandy Response
There was a wonderful response of Grace Community Church volunteers to assist with needs in relation to needs related to Hurricane Sandy. People without electricity were housed in the homes of those who had power. People were assisted with temporary power, meals were prepared, frozen food was moved to other locations, trees were cut up, yards were cleaned up, people were transported to where they needed to be. Since October 30th, almost 50 different needs of the congregation and community have been addressed and resolved. Thank you to every person of Grace Community Church who pitched in to make this hurricane event a blessing in so many ways! You can see more details and pictures by clicking our GCCN Facebook page here.

The Church Jesus Builds are Faithful Stewards
Our theme last Sunday was supposed to be "everything that Jesus does, He does with excellence, and calls us to do the same." Since our Sunday Worship Service was cancelled because of not electricity or heat in the Church, that sermon will be presented early in 2013, Lord willing. This coming Sunday we will proceed with the scheduled topic of stewardship--God calls us to have a stewarding relationship with all that we have and are--He is the true owner of all. Pastor Wes will lead us in the eighth of this 11-part series on Christ's plan for His Church. Prepare your heart by praying for God's truth and presence to be with us as we worship Him together. |

Next Weekend, a few of our teens will be competing in the annual Philadelphia Festival of Life! Events include basketball, singing, acting, puppetry, chess, math and science quizzing and more! Men's Ministry, Local and District
Session #7 was this past Tuesday evening. Because some of our men were unable to make, we will run that session again next Tuesday, November 13th, before our regularly scheduled showing of Session #8 at 7:00 pm. So come early at 6:00 if you need to catch up.
Also, in light Hurricane Sandy and vastly changed wood situation, we will NOT be having woodcutting this Saturday, November 10th for Earl and Miriam Griffis. Thanks to those who signed up, we may reschedule this for a month or two later when their needs are greater. |

Christmas Spectacular at Fountain of Life
There will be a Grace Community Church trip on December 7, 2012 to see the wonderful Christmas presentation at Fountain of Life Church in Burlington County. We will be leaving from GCCN at 6:00 pm. Although there is no charge for the ticket for this event, you are welcome to make a donation that would support our youth ministry. Just mark your gift "Christmas Trip." This would be a great opportunity to bring friends and family to an excellent Christ-centered event! Please sign up with Amy Weyna who is coordinating this.
