From Pastor Wes
"A Loving Place,
Loving People"
Twice in the past week people have privately told me that they have experienced love, acceptance, compassion at Grace Community Church in ways they had not experienced anywhere else.
Wow! That's the kind of thing we love to hear! It is an affirmation that the Holy Spirit is working deeply and beautifully in the lives of people and that they are responding to His leading and changing.
The Church of Jesus Christ is called to be the most loving, safe and affirming place and people on earth. When the Church of Jesus Christ is functioning as Christ intends, people will quickly and consistently recognize that it is an authentic expression of Christ's hope, prayer and presence.
Jesus said, "Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13:34-35
An authentic and loving Church is truly a miracle of God's grace. Everyone is welcome. But we all come with our hurts, our wounds, our baggage. There's truth to the saying, "The wounded wound others." But Christ brings the healing needed to effect forgiveness, and to fill our hearts with love.
Let us always be known as a Church that loves as Christ loves---deeply and unconditionally.

The Church Jesus Builds Lives by Faith!
Jesus taught repeatedly in the Gospels that FAITH is the key to accomplishing vital things for the Kingdom. We can live in our power and expectation, or in Christ's power and vision--there's a world of difference. Pastor Wes will lead us in the sixth part of this 11-part series on Christ's plan for His Church. Please prepare your hearts by praying for God's truth and presence to be with us as we come together to worship Him...and that He will enlarge our faith! |

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
Thank you to each person who donated to help sponsor students travelling to Eastern Nazarene College! Your investment will pay dividends in lives helped and guided by your kindness! There were some funds left over with which we plan to take more students later.
Thank you to every person who has responded with generosity to the Mission 2012 offerings This has been a main way of accomplishing ministry both here and around the world. Praise God faithfulness!
Thank you also for your generosity to Pastor Matt on the occasion of his first year anniversary as Pastor to Children and Youth at Grace Community Church! Approximately $425.00 was received in the love offering which will be a great help toward his new computer.

Thanks, Everybody
I would like to thank everybody here at Grace Naz for the amount of love, patience, encouragement and generosity that has been showed to me in the past year. Around this time in 2011, I was wondering what I was going to do with my life while sleeping in my parent's basement. You all took a leap of faith on me and I pray that I've done a great job serving the teens and kids of this community. I also pray that in the next year(s) to come, that God continues to shape me as I serve you. Thanks.
