QUICK LINKS

As winter melts away, we look forward to the changes spring brings.  Over the winter months, we've had the opportunity to dig into several projects.

This month, we spearheaded City of Frederick Day in Annapolis for the 9th year, providing a unique opportunity to connect with state leaders and legislators. City officials and partners showcased our community and key projects that are moving Frederick. From infrastructure investments to the arts, Frederick is building a safer, stronger Maryland through partnerships, all while improving the excellent quality of life that residents enjoy and expect.

Looking forward, work on the Mayor's ad hoc Economic Development Advisory Council will bring about recommendations to help Frederick compete regionally and nationally. The Downtown Hotel and Conference Center project is on track, and we're looking forward to sharing updates in the upcoming months on both of these initiatives.

The sun is shining brighter and baseball season is almost here, and we have a lot to look forward to both in our community and with the new season.

Best,

Richard G. Griffin, AICP, CEcD
