Frederick's commercial brokers are part of the life-blood that help bring new businesses into the City and County. Our department enjoys supporting and working with local brokers to enhance available commercial space and with that in mind, recently held the 2014 Real Taste of Downtown Frederick Property Tour. Brokers and tenant representatives from Frederick, Montgomery County and the greater Washington area joined local economic development partners and enjoyed a personalized virtual and walking tour, highlighting some of the prominent commercial space opportunities available in Downtown Frederick. Attendees were guided through Downtown highlighting catalyst projects including Phase II of Carroll Creek Linear Park and the site proposed for the Downtown Frederick Hotel & Conference Center. Sponsors met the guests at several culinary stops along the tour route and showcased available opportunities while enjoying tasty bites. Frederick's office vacancy rate stands at 10.5% with approximately 732,000 square feet of available space. (Costar, Oct. 2014) There are several unique office spaces that might be the perfect fit for your business or someone else you might do business with. Along with big city amenities, Frederick has desirable small-town charm and quality of life. Feel free to contact any one of our great brokers or our office if you would like to learn about some great spaces.
Best, Richard G. Griffin, AICP, CEcD Director, Economic Development |
