Greetings!

  

I know our hearts are broken for the families of Newtown, Connecticut. The senseless act of violence of one man has forever changed the lives of many and has changed the country...the world. He abused the gift of choice and chose to destroy by taking the lives of 26 innocent people at the Sandy Hook Elementary School. He chose evil. While a human can take the life of another, they cannot destroy their spirit or the legacy they leave behind...even the legacy of young lives.

 

To honor the lives lost in Newtown, we can choose to compound love by participating in the '26 Acts of Kindness' campaign. Do 26 acts of kindness in honor of the 20 children and 6 adults killed at Sandy Hook. Your spirit and their spirit will soar into the New Year.

26 Acts of Kindness
    
As a life reinvention coach, I spend much of my time thinking about discovery, big ideas and making time to live well. Reinvention occurs when you are open to discovery...when your heart is open to change. That occurs when you are in service of others and willing and actively supporting the good of the other. In our very busy lives, we sometimes forget the importance of service and reaching out to help others in meaningful ways. Let's reconnect with service.
  

The '26 Acts of Kindness' campaign that is taking place all over the world encourages us to participate by taking action in ways that allow us to share our heart with others. Taking action will allow us to work through our sadness and grief honoring those whose spirits have inspired this movement breaking through the darkness that is trying to hold on. Don't let it. Refuse to let evil hold your heart hostage.  There are no rules. Let your heart guide you. It knows service.

 

 

In every community, there is work to be done.

In every nation,  there are wounds to heal. In every heart, there is the power to do it.
