Conveyer & Caster - Equipment for Industry is a third generation, family-owned material handling distributor based in Cleveland, Ohio. They are a growing organization, with a strong sales focus; staffing twelve outside salespeople, nine remote and three local, and four inside salespeople. Add five management personnel to that and you have twenty-one sales focused positions in the organization. During Conveyer & Caster's weekly check in meetings, twelve to thirteen people were snuggly fit in a conference room built for eight. That wasn't bad. Come in to see a quarterly sales meeting, and one might have thought that there was a Master Clown Car driver in the company.

With a growing business come more employees; more employees mean more desk space. Conveyer & Caster was out of that space too. They realized they could reconfigure their warehouse area to allow for construction of more offices and a bigger conference room. They called on their trusted vendor partner, STARRCO. Greg Lerdahl and Dave Cox helped Conveyer & Caster design a modular office system that provided both ample meeting space and extra offices. The building came complete with a 125 PSF mezzanine over the offices and a 25 PSF maintenance deck over the conference room.

The office system wouldn't be complete without the finishing work. Conveyer & Caster locally sourced a ductless HVAC system which allows for separate temperature control in each room, commercial carpet tile, conference room furniture, audio and video equipment for conferencing, cabinets for coffee service, and office equipment.
