Summer of Leadership
While the adult Leadership Winter Park program may be on hiatus over the summer, that does not mean that it is quiet times at the Chamber. The 16th class of Youth Leaders kicked off last week and another session will be held in July. Leadership Winter Park continually strives to develop leaders and learners in our community - from high school to CEO!

Youth Leaders Class XVI
On June 20, a group of 23 high school students from nine area public and private schools across Central Florida gathered at the Chamber to commence a week of team building, civic engagement and leadership development.

Highlights from the week included a class service project at BASE Camp Children's Cancer Foundation, ballroom dance lessons, a video resume workshop at Full Sail University, a mock voir dire and trial at the Orange County Courthouse and a career insight panel with local professionals.

During a special behind-the-scenes tour and visit to the WKMG Channel 6 station, our Youth Leaders class was featured on the noon newscast! Check out the live broadcast below.
