Youth Leaders Class XVI
Rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors can now apply online to be part of Youth Leaders Class XVI! The application now includes leadership in action essay prompts and a resume submission. Accepted students will have an opportunity to build on their resume throughout the one-week program and on the last day will be presented with revisions, feedback and advice to use for college and job applications. Spread the word! Application deadline is May 11, 2016.
Leadership Winter Park Class XXVII
Leadership Winter Park is a program of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce that identifies and promotes potential leaders from the business community who desire to become more involved in making a difference in Winter Park. The program is a community-awareness, leadership preparation effort and offers a behind the scenes look at and study of the critical issues and challenges facing Winter Park. Merchants along Park Avenue are invited to attend one of two upcoming seminars to learn the ins and outs of ExperienceParkAvenue.com, WinterPark.org and the City Kiosks on the Avenue to promote their businesses and events. The sessions will be identical so pick the one that works best for you! Please bring a laptop as this will be a hands-on working seminar.

Both will be held at the Winter Park Welcome Center.

Work Well Winter Park is a movement to improve the health and well-being of the workforce in our community by creating lasting, cultural change.
4th Annual Health Innovation Grants Workshop

Attend this free workshop and your organization could be eligible to receive one of the mini-grants available totaling $25,000! Hear from national experts and learn about cutting edge strategies to make your workplace, school, church or community healthier. Learn more here.
This year's workshop will primarily focus on two areas:
- Walking, Walkability and Physical Activity
- Healthy Eating/ Creating Healthy Food Environments
The workshop is free and open to the public. Grant applicant projects must primarily serve the residents of Eatonville, Maitland and Winter Park and applicants must attend the workshop to be eligible to apply. All grant applications must target one of these Health Central Florida focus areas: Get active or Eat healthy. Individuals are welcome to attend but grants will be made only to recognized 501(c)3 organizations for implementation. Collaborations are encouraged. A light breakfast will be provided. All new Chamber members or new staff members of existing members are invited to attend our monthly Member Orientation.
