ELECTIONS RESULTS
Thank you to all who exercised their rights to vote in the primary and municipal elections yesterday. The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce was proud to endorse the new library and events center referendum, which is in alignment with our mission, which is to develop, promote and sustain a vital, thriving business climate and to initiate, support and enhance the civic, educational and economic well-being of the area. When voters passed the referendum yesterday, these new, upgraded facilities became a reality which will provide expanded educational and entrepreneurial programs, collaboration and access to technology. The Chamber looks forward to future community dialogue on this important project.
Congratulations to Commissioner Carolyn Cooper on her re-election and commissioner-elect Pete Weldon. We are looking forward to working with both of you in the years ahead.
