1. Feed the Need
From November 2 - 20, the Winter Park community is coming together for raise funds for Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce is recruiting organizations and businesses to be Community Champions. There are lots of ways to get involved, give back and receive recognition for your efforts!
  • Donate $500 to the cause
  • Host a virtual food drive
  • Host a fundraising event
  • Donate proceeds from a specific product or service
  • Donate a raffle prize

2. Winter in the Park Ice Rink Advertising
Promote your business to 20,000+ skaters and spectators at the annual Winter in the Park Holiday Ice Skating Rink in downtown Winter Park. The rink is open from November 20, 2015 - January 10, 2016. For $150, your business logo will be featured at the rink along with fellow Chamber members.

3. Bright House Networks Regional Business Awards
Bright House Networks is thrilled to once again host its Regional Business Awards event. Designed to recognize the outstanding companies, organizations, and people who have impacted the Orlando region, and beyond, with their products, services, and thought leadership, the 2016 Regional Business Awards will be brighter than ever. The application fee is waived for current Chamber of Commerce members. Application details and entry forms available at

Winter Park Memorial Hospital
Nestled among the oak-shaded, brick-paved streets of one of the most picturesque hometowns in the country, Winter Park Memorial Hospital has continuously served the residents of Winter Park and its surrounding communities for more than 50 years. Chartered in 1951, the hospital has grown from the visionary efforts of a handful of Winter Park residents and community leaders, to a 297-bed acute care facility that is a model of community health and wellness. Over the years the hospital has continually expanded to meet the needs of the community, adding an upscale obstetrics and Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at The Dr. P. Phillips Baby Place, cancer care at the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute, Winter Park, and state-of-the-art surgery, recovery and rehabilitation at the Florida Hospital Orthopaedic Institute. Last year, over 15,000 patients were treated at Winter Park Memorial Hospital, including 2,400 baby deliveries and 39,000 at the Emergency Department. In addition, over 8,700 surgical procedures were performed. The hospital employs over 1,400 workers including nurses, technicians and support staff. Over 200 doctors practice at the hospital, including a complete in-house staff of some of the most highly-qualified physicians and specialists in the area.

Be part of the kick-off for the 3rd Annual Feed the Need Winter Park campaign presented by Florida Distributing Company, Mayflower Retirement Community and Winter Park Memorial Hospital. This community-wide effort to raise funds for Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is a great way to involve co-workers, customers, friends and family with one mission: to feed the need. MEMBER ORIENTATION 
All new Chamber members or new staff members of existing members are invited to attend our monthly Member Orientation. This is a great way to connect with fellow members and Chamber staff, learn more about the organization and identify opportunities to maximize your membership.  The next orientation is Wednesday, November 18, at 8:15 a.m. at the Winter Park Welcome Center. Bcenter - Global Stroke Resource: Tie a yellow ribbon in honor or memory of a stroke survivor on World Stroke Day, October 29, 2015. This international day of stroke recognition gives us an opportunity to work together as a collective voice in the stroke community. Established by the World Stroke Organization in 2006, World Stroke Day is an annual event that brings advocates together to raise awareness about stroke as the # 1 cause of death in the World.

LunDev: Two new members have joined our team. Aron Harrison is a Field Manager and has experience in residential home framing and commercial real estate. Jamie Gernert joined the team as Communications Director, with a strong background in advertising, public relations and web project management.

Orlando City Documentary "Making History" Premier at Orlando Film Festival

The Central Florida community is invited to enjoy Halloween Howl, a fun and safe daytime event for the whole family. Activities include a costume contest, arts and crafts activities, and carnival games. Children will also have the opportunity to trick-or-treat through the residence halls and tour haunted houses created by Rollins student organizations. The event is free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
