A FOUNDATION OF STRONG COMMERCE

On July 23, the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and City of Winter Park joined forces to honor the legacy and longevity of local businesses that have served the community for 25 years, or more. The Salute to Business event presented by Winter Park Memorial Hospital, was a special opportunity to recognize more than 250 local organizations that provide a strong foundation of commerce for Winter Park. WHAT A SUMMER!  

The second and final session of Youth Leaders Class XV was held July 20 - 24 and included 25 bright students from all over Central Florida. This year, marked the most diverse group of public, private and charter high schools represented - 12 in total! After a jam-packed week of activities, each student was awarded 25 hours of community service.

 

The July class made a video to share with to their families and guests at the Graduation Luncheon presented by Bright House Networks to highlight their experiences from the week. Watch the video below.

The Park Avenue Merchants Association consists of Central Business District merchants and non-retail members committed to the betterment of the Park Avenue area.


NEW KIOSKS

The City of Winter Park recently installed new electronic kiosks on Park Avenue. One at the corner of Lyman and Park and a second at Lincoln and Park (on Central Park side of the street). The kiosks feature two interactive screens where visitors can view upcoming events, locate restrooms and search a directory of local businesses. 

 

Please visit one of the kiosks to verify that your business information is accurate. Data was pulled from city business licenses. If your information needs to be updated, please use this link to submit new informationwww.cityofwinterpark.org/kiosks. The Hurricane Katrina Disaster: Five Days at Memorial
