The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business is pleased to host its annual economic update on Tuesday, March 3, at the Rachel D. Murrah Civic Center.

The event will feature an economic overview by Dr. William Seyfried, professor of economics at Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business. He will explore a variety of topics, including:

  • Are we closing in on full employment or is the job market still really weak?
  •  Are wages going to continue to stagnate or are we about to get bigger raises?
  • What is the key indicator to watch when it comes to seeing whether economic growth is about to pick up?
  • Has irrational exuberance returned to financial markets?
  • Will economic headwinds from overseas impact the US economy?
The morning begins with networking and breakfast at 7:45 a.m. followed by the program. Registration is due by Tuesday, February 24. Click here for individual seats and corporate tables. Special thanks to our supporting sponsors, Florida Blue, Winderweedle, Haines, Ward & Woodman, P.A. and Winter Park/ Maitland Observer.
