NEW PROGRAM SCHEDULE

At the Y, we are continually working to improve your experience as members while running a fiscally responsible organization. To that end, you may have noticed some recent changes to our schedules; we hope you find the larger print and style easier to read so you can find your favorite classes more quickly.

In this electronic age, we decided it is time we take full advantage of the lower cost of delivering YMCA program information to you. In the past we have mailed the Program Guide and Schedules directly to your home. Now you will find them on your home-branch YMCA's web page under the Schedules Section and, if you still like the convenience of a printed copy, you can pick up a printed copy of your Y Schedules at your YMCA's Welcome Center. Please let us know how this works for you by taking our poll.

More exciting changes are coming! We are developing a new website that will be mobile-device friendly. The new site also takes advantage of technology that makes it quicker and easier to find classes and register for Y programs!

We hope you will like the changes!

The Y makes strengthening our communities our cause.  We strongly believe that children who have the necessities they need to succeed can focus on learning rather that worrying about having shoes to wear on the playground and crayons to color their assignments.  By pairing a child with a caring adult volunteer "shopping buddy," children also learn that our community cares about them and wants them to succeed.

You can help by sponsoring a child for $150, volunteering to shop with a child for clothes and school supplies, or donating school supplies.  For more information please contact rosabeth.kissman@peninsulaymca.org.

August brings the heat and youth sports camps!

Each week children can get active with our sports camps which include Gymnastics, Adventure Camp and Soccer camp.

Gymnastics camp begins August 5 from 4 to 6 pm and the cost of the program is $40 members, $60 program participants. 

Adventure Camp begins August 12 from 8:30 am to 5 pm and the cost is $275 for members, $300 for program participants.

Soccer camp begins August 19 from 5 to 7 pm and the cost is $35 members, $50 program participants.
