Will treatment be covered by my insurance?
Coverage of vein treatment depends upon
your insurance, the type of veins that are
being treated and the course of treatment
that is planned. Veins that are painful and
cause medical problems for patients are
usually covered by insurance. Typically, the
small purple spider veins are considered
cosmetic and are not covered by insurance.
We submit all the necessary documentation to
your insurance company and you will know
prior to any procedure what is covered by your plan.
The Connecticut Center for Advanced Vein Therapy (CCAVT) is located in the Middlebury office of Diagnostic Radiology Associates at The Turnpike Office Park, 1579 Straits Turnpike. Consultations with Dr. Belcher and Dr. Eric Hyson are available by calling CCAVT at 203-758-1980. |
