WCO President-Elect Visits Salus

When the president-elect of the World Council of Optometry (WCO) comes to campus, it's an honor for the University and a serious occasion. Last month, when WCO president-elect Uduak Udom, OD, arrived in Elkins Park, the occasion was more of a homecoming. This former - and first female- president of the African Council of Optometry is a current Salus student, earning a Master of Public Health degree in the University's online program.

CER Faculty IPE Collaboration

Faculty from two programs in the College of Education and Rehabilitation (CER) joined together in November to present at the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association Conference (POTA) in King of Prussia, PA. The Blindness and Low Vision and Occupational Therapy (OT) faculty members' presentation focused on the importance of interprofessional collaboration between these two disciplines.
