Alumni Directory Information
We are creating a new directory that will contain alumni contact information. To accomplish this, we have retained a company called Publishing Concepts (PCI).
Postcards and emails were sent from our partner, Publishing Concepts (PCI), in December requesting updated contact information, and follow up phone calls will be made. We have posted a list of Frequently Asked Questions on the University's website for questions regarding our Alumni Directory project. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact Jamie Lemisch, director of Alumni Relations at jlemisch@salus.edu or 215.780.1391. |
Kendall Rosen Receives Recognition
Since opening six years ago, the Hafter Student Community Center has welcomed students, faculty and staff to its fitness center. Administered by employees of L&T Health and Fitness of Virginia, the fitness center has become an integral part of daily and weekly routines for the University community.
Last month Kendall Rosen, the Center's manager was awarded L&T Health and Fitness' most prestigious award, the Directors' Award for Service Leadership.
Hired in 2006 for reception and office operations, Kendall was promoted to manager in 2008. Since then, she has become a certified personal fitness professional and obtained three fitness certifications: indoor cycling, ViPR training and Tabata Bootcamp.
According to L&T Health and Fitness founders Sue Liebenow and Sue Torok, "Kendall has been . . .program manager of the Hafter Center for over four years, working with a dedicated fitness staff . . .and a number of front desk employees, which presently includes 20 work-study students from Salus. Her positive attitude and solution-based thinking have made her a strong leader as well as a strong manager. Her staff comments on how she leads by example and treats everyone with care and respect. Her commitment to process improvement, efficient operations, and staff engagement has resulted in creative programming and a positive environment at the Hafter Center." Kendall did not want to publicize her award; however, thanks to the efforts of trainer John Mullen and Sharon Noce, associate director, Student Financial Affairs, the word got out. Congratulations, Kendall! |
