On behalf of everyone here at Bellesini Academy, we want to thank our guests, sponsors, auction donors, program advertisers, and everyone who made our "Building Bridges to Brighter Futures" Spring Event such a tremendous success! The event raised $85,000, including over $29,000 for Bellesini's 4-week Summer Program.
The evening would not have been possible without our generous event sponsors:
George Washington Bridge - $2,500
Firdaus & Jasmin Bhathena
David & Valerie Brooks
Bulens Family Foundation
Dr. David McGrath
John & Elizabeth Waters
Zakim Bridge - $1,000 DeLuca Family Charitable Trust
Julie DiFilippo
Randstad US
TD Bank
Duck Bridge - $500 Axial Financial Group
Chelmsford Holdings
Fred C. Church
Fred & Connie Glore
We also want to extend a special thank you to our Event Chair, Valerie Brooks for all of her hard work, and our auctioneer, Jay Caporale, for helping make the auction a great success.
Over 75 items were auctioned and raffled off, including Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Patriots tickets, electro nics, spa packages, restaurant gift certificates, summer camps, vacations, and many more. Everyone enjoyed the musical performance by Bellesini students with Lawrence YMCA's Music Clubhouse. Bellesini alumnus and St. John's Prep sophomore Jhoneidy led the students on the keyboard.

Summer Fund Support Off to a Great Start!
Thanks to our donors at the Spring Event, our Summer Fund Appeal is off to a great start raising over $29,000! The cost to send a student to the program is $1,000, therefore we need to raise $60,000 to fund the program for all 60 students. For four weeks each summer, Bellesini students attend the Summer Program at St. John's Prep in Danvers. The Summer Program prevents summer learning loss through the continuation of academic classes and enrichment programs, allows students to experience recreational activities in a safe environment, and provides exposure to life on a prep school campus. A gift to the Summer Program is an investment in a young man's life that really pays off. $1,000 pays for a student to attend the entire month, $500 pays for two weeks, and $100 pays for two days.
