The New Idea Award
This grant program is designed to identify novel research strategies with high potential for high impact on the future of blood cancer treatment(s). Specifically, this program supports academic researchers with innovative ideas for approaches that are substantially different from standard therapies and prognostic/diagnostic modalities, as well as ideas that may fundamentally change our understanding of blood cancer(s). Successful applications will describe potentially paradigm-shifting ideas that take research in a substantially new direction, and thus preliminary data is not required. The goal of this program is to advance novel concepts that may eventually lead to significant improvements in the clinical outcomes, including quality of life, of patients with hematological malignancies.
