Career Development Program (CDP)
The Career Development Program (CDP) offers the opportunity to take part in basic, clinical or translational research to help treat leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. LLS will award stipends so the applicant can devote time to leukemia research, lymphoma research or myeloma research. LLS offers career development awards for various stages of an applicant's research career. The 'A' Award This award is designed for early career scientists who want to establish their career in pediatric oncology research. The ideal applicant has an original project that is not currently being funded. Demonstration of outstanding mentorship and a future commitment to pediatric cancer investigation are critical components of a successful application. Institutional commitment to the applicant is also expected.

Career Development AwardThis award provides funding to clinical investigators who have received their initial faculty appointment to establish an independent clinical cancer research program. The sponsor welcomes application submissions in all oncology subspecialties.

Young Investigator AwardThis award provides funding to promising investigators to encourage and promote quality research in clinical oncology. Mentored Research Scholar Grant in Applied and Clinical ResearchProvides support for mentored research and training to full-time junior faculty, typically within the initial four years of their first independent appointment. The goal is for beginning investigators to become independent researchers as either clinician scientists or cancer control and prevention researchers.

National Lung Cancer Partnership (NLCP)
Young Investigator Research Grant
NLCP will award multiple research grants to post-doctoral fellows and junior faculty in support of the foundation's vision to double lung cancer survival by 2022. The purpose of this Grant Program is to drive research forward that will lead to increasing survival rates for lung cancer patients, while ensuring that young investigators have the resources needed for them to succeed as lung cancer researchers.

American Society of Hematology (ASH)
Bridge Grant Program Opportunity
ASH has pledged $9 million to a new bridge grant program to help preserve the careers of its talented member scientists whose vital research will not be accomplished due to across-the-board cuts to the NIH budget. Application is open to ASH members who applied for an NIH R01 grant or equivalent but were denied funding due to budget cutbacks.
