Hillery Magness

A southern California native, Hillery completed her Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA. It didn't take long for Hillery to catch the athletic training bug during her undergraduate education, and she soon accepted a position as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Oregon. She earned her MS degree in Exercise and Movement Science while helping care for the Oregon women's soccer and football teams and researching the standardization of concussion management protocols amongst Division 1 athletic programs.
Hillery spent three years as a staff athletic trainer and undergraduate athletic training education program instructor at Sacramento State University before moving home to be the athletic trainer for the women's soccer and women's water polo teams at the University of Southern California. After eight years with USC, Hillery is excited to transition to the orthopedic clinic setting. She is ready to take on the educational and personal challenges that she is certain to be presented with over the next year.
