VRD YOUTH T-BALL REGISTRATION CLOSES APRIL 12

(Vail, Colo.) - Registration is coming to a close for the Vail Recreation District's spring T-ball programs beginning this month. The VRD is also seeking volunteer coaches and referees, with fees  waived for children whose parents volunteer.

T-ball will take place from 4 to 5:15 p.m. on Mondays, April 18 through May 23 (excluding April 25), at Homestake Peak School. The T-ball program is for children ages five and six and cost is $70 per child. The program will be limited to 20 participants, with only a few spots remaining. Each session will be spent working on the fundamentals of throwing, catching, base running and hitting for the first half, followed by implementing those skills in a game setting during the second half.
