Vail Rec District Offers Thanksgiving Camps for Youth
Gymnastics, Crafts, Ice Skating and More to Keep Kids Busy During School Vacation |
(Vail)--For kids looking for activities during their Thanksgiving school holiday, the Vail Recreation District will offer two camps hosted by the Community Programming KidZone and the Vail Gymnastics Center. Both camps offer all-day activities for youth ages five to 12 and grades kindergarten through fifth. Participants can choose to join the fun for a single day or every day of the holiday camp.
 KidZone School's Out Camp The KidZone School's Out Camp takes place from Monday, Nov. 23 to Wednesday, Nov. 25. Cost is $49 per day for non-Eagle County residents or $39 per day for local students and VRD residents. School's Out Camp is always packed with a variety of active and artistic fun. Morning drop-off and pickup takes place at Red Sandstone Elementary School between 7:30-9 a.m. and 4-5:30 p.m. Advance reservations and payment are required and are non-refundable by calling 970-479-2292.
Vail Gymnastics Tumblin' Turkey Camp The Vail Gymnastics Camp takes place on Monday, Nov. 23 and Tuesday, Nov. 24 and cost is $45 per day. Kids will get to bounce, flip and swing throughout the day with several snack and activity breaks.  Morning drop-off and pickup takes place at the Vail Gymnastics Center between 8-8:30 a.m. and 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Advance reservations and payment are required and cancellations must be received one week prior to camp starting in order to receive a refund minus $10 handling fee. A registration form is available here, which can either be mailed, scanned or deposited at the Vail Gymnastics Center.
