Greetings Parents of Youth Sports Enthusiasts,

We wanted to let you all know about this truly exciting opportunity coming up this September. Your Mountaineer Hockey Club has collaborated with the VRD, WECMRD, Vail Valley Soccer Club and the Vail Valley Lacrosse Club to sponsor a speaking event featuring John O'Sullivan.

John O'Sullivan is a former collegiate and professional soccer player, who has spent the past two decades as a coach at the youth, high school and college levels. O'Sullivan speaks nationwide to coaches, parents, and young athletes about developing athletic excellence and leadership within positive sporting environments. He is the author of the Bestselling book "Changing The Game" and was featured on a "TED" talk in Bend, Ore. The event will be held at Battle Mountain High School on Wednesday, Sept. 23. The parent talk will begin at 5:45 p.m. and will be approximately 75 minutes in length. There will be opportunity to interact with John during the talk and afterwards. He will then hold a coaching conference of 75 minutes starting at 7:30 p.m. Also if you have friends with kids in other sports please encourage them to join as well. There is no charge for this event.
