(Vail)-The Vail Recreation District will partner with the Vail Public Library and Alpine Arts Center for an evening of Books & Beverages on Friday, Oct. 2. The program will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Community Programming, located on the second floor of the Lionshead Welcome Center.

Books and Beverages will feature instruction from Alpine Arts Center and include cutting and forming paper sculptures from books. Participants may bring their own book or one will be provided. Cost is $10 to participate and will include light snacks and a cash bar for those 21 and older. Ages 16 and older are welcome. Space is limited and reservations are required.
